Bethany Wilson



Bethany is a new business law associate at Haley Palmersheim. She graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in May 2017. During her studies, she interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. and for Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson at the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She was a participant and coach in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot Court in Vienna, Austria, as well as a participant and coach in the Thomas Tang Moot Court. Bethany was also a research assistant at the University of Wisconsin Law School, assisting the East Asian Legal Studies center.

In her former career, Bethany lived in Shenzhen, China, and worked for a software startup that produced Chinese learning apps for iPhone and Android. Bethany also worked as a law clerk for a Chinese firm, drafting corporate documents for foreign companies and providing research on United States corporation and director liability laws. She has a professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese reading, writing, and speaking and is also fluent in American Sign Language.

Bethany graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology.
