Nicole Schram joined the firm after over a decade of experience as a business attorney and trial attorney. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of business transactions, real estate, estate planning, and immigration law. Prior to joining Haley Palmersheim, Nikki was General Counsel for Century 21 Affiliated, overseeing the legal work for 95 plus real estate offices in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. She was involved with mergers and acquisitions, including all aspects of drafting and reviewing asset purchase agreements. She also has experience with employment and independent contractor matters, non-competition and non-disclosure agreements, and other general contractual and business issues.
In addition to her work as General Counsel for Century 21 Affiliated, Nikki also worked as an attorney for eight years in Denver, Colorado in the areas of business litigation, business law, estate planning and immigration. She represented clients in the trial courts, the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court.
Nikki is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with honors with dual degrees in Sociology and Behavioral Science and Law. After completing her undergraduate studies, Nikki was a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps. She lived for two years in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), West Africa, where she worked as a health education and womens’ development agent.
In addition to her legal acumen in real estate, Nikki is also an experienced Realtor. She serves on the Forms Committee of the Wisconsin Realtors Association, which drafts and revises the real estate contracts used by Realtors and attorneys throughout Wisconsin. Nikki is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Illinois.
